When you are proud of your work it is only right to show it off to the world! When you get to this point where you want to advertise your cakes, think about who your ideal clients are, where they are and what the best way is to get your cake business before them. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising, moving on from that will be all Social Media platforms – you can advertise there for free!
Local craft fairs, school fairs, church fairs, are very good too. Once you are more comfortable and willing to step up – wedding fairs are next. Remember that cakes are an “edible art”, so you need people seeing and tasting your cakes – if you create ambassadors for your lovely brand, you will enjoy the benefit of having them on board.
